Operation 36 is a long-term development system designed to keep junior golfers challenged, motivated, and improving for years—not just weeks or months.

At Cypress Golf Academy, golfers progress through a 6-level curriculum that combines structured weekly coaching, on-course challenges, and measurable goals. Every golfer starts close to the hole and works toward a simple objective: shoot 36 or better over 9 holes. When they reach that goal, they earn the opportunity to move back to the next distance on the course.

Each level introduces:

• More advanced skills and decision-making

• Increased independence and confidence

This progression ensures golfers are always appropriately challenged—never rushed forward and never held back. Players aren’t competing against other kids; they’re competing against their own previous level, which builds ownership, confidence, and a true sense of accomplishment.

What makes this model powerful is that progress happens on the golf course, not just on the range. Golfers learn etiquette, strategy, awareness, and how to play the game in real situations. Combined with weekly classes, on-course challenges, and progress tracking, this creates a clear development path that supports beginners through advanced junior players over multiple years.

The Academy welcomes beginner through intermediate junior golfers. Golfers are grouped by age and experience to ensure a positive, supportive learning environment. For our most advanced players, we offer a limited Elite program, which is application-based and capped at 10 golfers to ensure a high level of instruction and individual attention.

Each semester includes weekly one-hour group classes, with optional monthly on-course matches available for golfers enrolled in the Challenge package and above, giving players the chance to apply what they’re learning in real playing situations

Each week, families receive a Family Card outlining the class focus, what was worked on, why it matters on the course, and simple ways to support learning at home.

Matches are played as 9-hole events using the Operation 36 format. Golfers compete from distances appropriate to their division and advance as they demonstrate scoring improvement.

On-course matches are held throughout the semester, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays until the time change, then they are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Families sign up through the Academy’s tournament registration system, and weekly match schedules are shared in advance.

Yes. Parent involvement is an important part of the Operation 36 experience. Parents serve as caddies during matches to support their golfer, assist with scorekeeping, and reinforce positive habits on the course.

We understand families are busy with school, other sports, and multiple children. If a class is missed, golfers may attend another class time that same week or double up during another week of the semester, as space allows. Matches work the same way—families simply attend another scheduled match during the semester. We ask that families give us notice so we can plan appropriately and maintain the integrity of class sizes and schedules.

Yes. We offer a sibling discount for families with multiple children enrolled at Cypress Golf Academy

• 10% off the monthly tuition for the second child

• 20% off the monthly tuition for the third child

Sibling discounts begin starting with the second month of membership and then remain the fixed monthly rate moving forward. The first month is billed at the full rate due to onboarding, setup, and administrative costs associated with enrolling new students

We do not offer trial classes. Cypress Golf Academy operates on a membership-based model to ensure consistency, progression, and a positive group learning environment. All new students receive a structured onboarding process to help them feel comfortable and set up for success from their very first class.
